Bridge the Gap Month: A Call to Strengthen Our Church's Future
July has been designated as Bridge the Gap Month — a time to come together and secure the future of our church and its ministries. Over the past nine years, the diocesan grant has steadily declined, from $118,000 in 2016 to just $20,000 in 2025. Next year, it will decrease further to $10,000, after which we will no longer receive financial assistance from the diocese.
We have faithfully adapted to these reductions, but this year's shortfall is significant. By the end of the year, we anticipate a $40,000 deficit, which is not sustainable for our church's ongoing mission and ministry. That's why this month, we're asking for your partnership in strengthening our financial foundation.
Bridge the Gap Month has two key goals:
Raising $20,000 in one-off gifts to reduce the deficit by half.
Increasing our regular planned giving by 8% , which would help us move toward financial stability by year's end.
