St. Andrew's Church will be going away for camp this year - Saturday 4th May - Monday 6th May 2024!
In 2025, Rev. Charlie will be leading a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, with a possible extension to Petra in Jordan.
On this two-week long trip, the group will be visiting a myriad of remarkable historic locations and areas of natural beauty, including: various mediterranean sea ports, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Caperneum, the Mount of the Beatitudes, the Golan Heights, the Dead Sea, Masada, Bethlehem and, of course Jerusalem.
For Christians, Easter Sunday is the biggest celebration of the year, as we proclaim Jesus’ resurrection, his bursting from the tomb. Jesus has defeated death and made it possible for us to receive the gift of forgiveness and everlasting life.
On Good Friday, we will gather as a church to focus on the immensity of Christ’s sacrifice and the love that drove him to suffer and die on our behalf.
On Maundy Thursday we will re-enact the Last Supper that Jesus had with his disciples before he was arrested, put on trial and condemned to death. The service includes a shared ‘Passover’ meal, foot washing and communion.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the most important week in the church calendar. Our service will begin with a triumphal procession with palm branches, as we welcome Jesus as our King.
Holy Week is an opportunity to connect with the most important sequence of events in human history. Namely, Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, The Last Supper, Jesus’ arrest, trial and crucifixion, and most importantly his resurrection.
On Sunday 10th March we are holding our a Newcomers Afternoon Tea for the year.
Join us for a women’s lunch at Springlake Hotel on Saturday 2nd March from 12pm onwards.
Our Annual General Meeting will be held after the service on Sunday 25th February right after church.
This is an important meeting where we elect the Wardens, Parish Council, Treasurer, Synod Reps and Parish Nominators.
The season of Lent is a period of 40 days (not including Sundays), which begins on Ash Wednesday (14th February) and takes us right through to Easter Sunday.

To coincide with our sermon series based on the book of Acts called, 'The Gospel Goes Out', and the season of Lent, at least one of our Hubs will be hosting an Evangelism Workshop, held over 7 weeks.
Our Christmas services and Carol Concert are some of the best and easiest services to invite your friends, neighbours and relatives to. Think about whom you could invite this year to hear the wonderful news of Christmas.

Carnival of Light is a light themed evening of fun activities, games and competitions with the hugely popular inflatables: Meltdown, Jumping Wall and Jumping Castle.
On Sunday the 13th of August, we will be celebrating the fact that God's people come from every tribe and language and people and nation.
Come join our first Prayer and Worship night for 2023. Let's start the year with an evening of celebration and intercession for our community and our great nation, Australia.

On Saturday the 15th of July the men will be meeting at Andy and Aase Brodersen's house for breakfast at 9am.
On Saturday the 8th of July, some of the men and children of the church will be going on a bushwalk to Mount Greville, which overlooks Lake Moogerah.
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We have designated July as Gift Month, when we are aiming to raise $20,000 to support youth and young adults ministry at St. Andrew's.
Join us at Glendalough once again in the coastal air of Peregian Beach. Make new friends, eat good food, sing praises and most of all, have a tonne of silly camp fun!
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
You are invited to a women’s craft afternoon. There will be a variety of craft activities and lots of opportunity to chat with the women of our church in a relaxed setting.
We will have a very informal service on Sunday evening. This is a great opportunity to hang out together and enjoy some quality time as a church.
