Missions Hub
We are in the process of establishing a Mission's Hub that will meet monthly to pray for and support Sandra Morgan's foundation in Indonesia.  The foundation (Creating a Bright Future), provides English lessons to prisoners and to children in various communities, administers emergency food relief and is currently building a medical centre.

Pastoral Care Team
Betty Jordan has taken on the role of Pastoral Care Coordinator and is assembling a pastoral care team.
Pastoral care is often very simple, for example, catching up with someone for coffee and a chat, or taking a meal to a family that is struggling, but it makes a huge difference!  
The pastoral care team will receive training and support and the time commitment depends entirely on what you are able to give.  Joining the pastoral care team is an opportunity to help love and care for our growing community, thus making our church more healthy and whole.

Caring for Ex-Offenders (CFEO)
CFEO is a charity that places ex-offenders in churches to ensure that they have a supportive Christian community around them after their release from prison.  This quote from the CFEO website illustrates the impact of their work:
'The reconviction rate within a year of release can be as high as 76% The re-offending rate amongst those we have supported is below 18%'
CFEO are willing to run online training sessions for our church to equip us to support ex-offenders upon their release into the community. Click here for more information

Alpha at the Youth Detention Centre
Prior to Covid-19, a small team from St. Andrew's had started running Alpha at a local youth detention centre.  Staff at the centre noted the impact on the inmates involved.  An opportunity for us to re-establish this ministry is on the horizon for those who have a heart for this ministry.
